Hmm, I liked the deviations from the anime a lot! Mari seems camp, and they gave Rei a personality and goals!
The last 45 minutes were sorta confusing and I think the movie format is to blame. I was also really tired but things just kinda happen.
I think this is probably a good set up for the next movie but feels a bit hazy as a stand-alone. And my excitement from the first movie and seeing the characters wore…

Ocean's Eight 2018
Honestly amazing, not a dull moment. I love women having fun and getting payed! Each member of the crew felt important and had surprising depth when trying to manage 8+ characters. Anne Hathaway and Sandra Bullock were my favorite actors in this movie.
Only complaint is that Debbies motivation (partially) stems from her brother, which was confusing for a brief time cause I didn’t know anything about the previous movies. But all that was redeemed during the final scene
(Also were Lou and Debbie suppose to be kinda gay? It felt kinda gay?)
