My reviews are all pretty positive... mostly because I don't finish movies I dislike

Mickey 17 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I love Bong Joon-Ho and his extremely unsubtle sci-fi. Obviously Robert Pattinson is great, the acting chops on display and the expert film-making made it so clear which Mickey was 17 and which was 18. Naomi Ackie was also top-notch in this, although if she would have just shared we really could have avoided the whole multiple problem.

Queen of the Ring 2024
So I'm not a wrestling guy but I did still really enjoy this, it's got some pacing problems (I swear a third of it was a montage) and some of the smaller characters and stories feel extremely rushed in a way that makes me think they should have been cut just to avoid blasting past them.
But Emily Bett Rickards & Josh Lucas give great performances throughout the whole movie and the wrestling scenes, though often brief, are well choreographed (to someone like me who doesn't know wrestling at least)
I liked it, I want EBR to get more leading roles like this

Here Comes Hell 2019
A loving homage to William Castle-esque 60's horror in terms of style but much more modern in terms of filmmaking technique.
I think many reviews may be digging into it as being kind of cheap but for what appears to be a directorial debut I think its quite good!
Is it my favorite movie? No but as someone with a soft spot for movies in the spirit (pun intended) of "House on Haunted Hill" and other classics like it I think its a very fun time
