  While generally a very well liked film "The Big Short" struck me as condescending, overly simplistic and just not a very interesting movie narratively, "Vice" takes all the worst qualities of "The Big Short" turns it up to 11 in one of the most excruciating movies I've watched this year.   Out of the Furnace 2013

  2nd time watching and better on the second viewing, I mean the cast is something special, a whole crew of dramatic actors capable of leading their own movies by themselves. The whole "fight club" aspect never felt right to me though, it's just very hokey in real life a character like Casey Affleck would be dealing drugs, stealing stuff, not being pressured to lose fights in abandoned mills with a bunch of scary guys standing around.

  Infamously bad erotic thriller is more notable at this point for its amazing imdb trivia page than anything that happens in it.
  Examples:

  -Madonna's acting coach quit just before production began, claiming that "she thinks she knows everything". (Believable and hilarious)

  -Madonna had five personal assistants for this film, including her own hairstylist, make-up artist and personal trainer. (Easily believable as well)

  -Two of Madonna's more infamous scenes (one involving dripping candles, the other requiring her to masturbate) were improvised.…
