Tbh, interviews I heard on the radio with Orin and the Director was a whole lot more interesting and insightful than the film itself.

English subtitle doesn't quite capture the joke on 野良 and 厨二病 but still It's fun. It's campy. A feel good buddy flick that delivers exactly what we expect.

Sadly though, World Premier at NY Asian Film Fest was painfully disappointing- due to technical issues we were forced to watch a preview version with really poor audio visual quality.

I don't get it. What is it about Hamaguchi that's so appealing to the critics?

Half baked, pretentious, and waaaay too long for what it is. Apparently started out as a visual to accompany Ishibashi composition and should have stayed a music video.

Takumi comes across as creepy loner who should NOT be trusted with a child...
