  It's an 80's Friedkin crime drama alright.

  It makes the world of a Secret Service agent seem so dangerous and daring - to a humorous degree. The fight scenes are goofy and poorly choreographed. The story meanders for the entire second act, then the lead characters suddenly begin making completely erratic decisions.

  The final act turns into one long, bizarre action sequence that is enjoyable to watch just because it makes no sense. It's like a video game with random…

  It's a fun sequel to a classic that I am sure 90% of us have seen on a flight. Probably more than once.

  Unfocused, lacks any real tension or sense of dread during its long, long build up. It takes its sweet time getting to where it's going, and once it arrives there it gets groady and raw, but it's simply not enough to lift this film up to something worth watching.

  Like all movies on this subject matter I found it tough to watch.

  That said, it was good not great. Pacing issues. The score is practically nonexistent. I don't think going black and white helped.

  Ben Foster did his usual habit of stealing every scene he's in. Smith is great as always but his talents felt a little wasted.
