A solid back to basics sequel. Great effects and atmosphere. Seems like a "Force Awkakens" type of retread which was enjoyable, but I would've liked the series to go back to the more philosophical/sci fi angle they were going with in Prometheus.

Dream Scenario 2023
A modern Cage Classic! A performance admittedly subdued, but perfectly preformed and never took me out of the world that's built. A cosmic gumbo of comedy, tragedy, and horror that I believe only the people at A24 could get right. With a surprisingly poignant message that never felt too on the nose or obtuse and a bitter but optimistic ending. There is also a fart scene that rivals Swiss Army Man as the greatest fart in cinema. We are eating well with these late stage Cage roles, and I'm eager to see what else he has to offer.
