Pretty run of the mill revenge plot with some nice stylistic choices, lots of blood and guts and a good score. There were a few things I would have been more forgiving of if it had been more of a schlocky grindhouse kind of movie, like how the hell did she survive, she coterizes the wound in the front but not the back, "mexican beer" would have been backwards on her, why does a shotgun have a scope, the windshield doesn't seem to shatter when she shoots the guy in the car, etc. But, there is a very satisfyingly large amount of blood.

The analog horror aesthetic tickles me, but this did not. I was initially uninterested in watching Skinamerink solely because the protagonists are children.
