  like, aside from all the recent disk horse, my main issue with this movie is the story could’ve been so much better. elf and legally blonde come to mind. like, the only thing i remember about ariana greenblatt’s character in this is her invoking margot’s fascism joke. compare her to the little brother character in elf, who starts out similarly - stoic, cynical, too cool for school, but who lets buddy’s influence bring out his inner child by the story’s…

  Almost couldn’t see the stunning visuals through that lovely thick fog of sexism!

  Since Joi is a secondary character with a considerable amount of screentime I thought for sure she would uhhh serve some semblance of importance to the plot. But nah they just wanted to slap their Her (2013) wish-fulfillment fanfic right in the middle of this. Ya’ll forgot to mention the A.I. are slaves too in this universe!!
