The poster and description of this film is very misleading. It gave me the impression this was going to be another excessively violent nick cage revenge story like Mandy (which is great btw) it’s actually more of a narrative driven character study where nick cage gives a very moving performance. I enjoyed the 91 minutes very much and would recommend this film to everyone.

Another bong John ho political satire with similar themes of social class and mobility which feature in his other films such as parasite and snowpiercer. It had a good message with Patterson playing a great part/parts but mark ruffalos charecter is a very shallow antagonist. Despite this it’s well paced and full of action possibly having one too many unfunny jokes but still a good time and well worth a watch.
