This is the only 5 star review that I have, and its of admittedly a very flawed movie. Misato’s kissing scene with shinji was gratuitous at best, and there is no real sense of closure given by this movie. Maybe that’s a good thing though. What propels this movie to 5 stars is the final 2 minutes. Most gut wrenching scene ever, and saying kimochi warui wasn’t even supposed to be part of the script. That it is ambiguous whether…
