I watched this years ago and thought they had no chemistry and the story didnt have enough time to develop although i loved the book, but now after much personal development this movie is soooooo good and creates crazy intimacy and depth. I think reading the story makes it easier to identify the emotion running through it but if you have to just know it when you see it, it can be harder.
