Very few films are able to make you sob within the first 10 minutes, and Up is one of them. The underlying sadness of the film is nicely balanced by hilarious scenes. Sweet, melancholic and humorous, Up has it all. The only note I would make is that the ending, including Mr Fredricksen’s final epiphany, seems a little rushed. I think it could have been more impactful.
Someone get me an a baby Kevin please and thank you.

I appreciate the novelty of the time loop theme, but in all honesty I don’t think the film has aged well. The romance was out of place. Having said this, it was an entertaining watch. Surprisingly dynamic, and funny. I liked the underlying message of the film of appreciating the little things in the present.

Fun film, somewhat annoying ending. I’ve learned that sweet talking to plants encourages their growth. This is especially true for magic bean plants!

Anora is not a romance, it’s a beautiful tragedy. It leaves you sad, angry and frustrated after a couple of hours of laughter. It causes a turmoil of thoughts and emotions. I loved it.
