felt claustrophobic during this entire film. checked each and every dark corner just in case something was hiding there. absolutely horrifying visuals throughout. gave me the same feeling of dread and fear the first time i watched hereditary.
it's the horror of opening your front door when you hear knocking even though no one's there, unknowingly letting something in. the horror of hearing scratching on your closet door when you're half asleep, wondering whether it was real or your mind playing tricks. the horror of recalling the monster that terrorized you as a kid from the depths of your memory.
