    Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

I appreciated ‘Fury Road’ on many levels, however, if I’m being completely honest, the actual experience of watching it really stresses me the fuck out. I get that’s kind of the point to some extent, but my internal Barbara Bush can at times wonder why I should ‘waste my beautiful mind on something like that?'

    Wonka

    ★★

‘Wonka’ had me pondering some of life’s deepest questions like “who exactly likes these kinds of movies?” and “why am I so dumb and not realize this would obviously be a musical?”

I Love movies and I Love music, but the twain shall never meet (except in incredibly rare cases such as the original ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and maybe ‘Moulin Rouge’).

Timothée Chalamet was somewhat less stiff and better-suited for the role than the trailer left me expecting.…
