really beautiful film about love, grief, and the effects of generational trauma, in a way that feels very particular to queer experiences (especially gay and bisexual men). honestly, it feels like the director was especially attempting to achieve a form of closure and healing for the generation that endured both AIDS and Section 28, but the story resonates for all ages of queer people. the story is sad, but there are moments of light. it's fucking gorgeous. ugly tears. go watch it.
