  There's so many running jokes in this film that just get funnier every rewatch. Wahlberg being completely unable to understand the concept of financial crimes so constantly nonsensically relating it back to cartels gets funnier with each viewing

  I was delivering leaflets in old Glasgow tenements in the somewhat deprived area I Iived. The conditions in some were terrible, loose wirng literally buzzing and sparking, missing lights, doors badly repaired after being kicked in, and what I hoped was dogshit and dog piss. One close, one stairwell, just felt fundamentally different. It was no dirtier than others but there was an energy, an aura, something was off. Something terrible happened here.

  Judgment at Nuremberg 1961

  There are many outstanding films in classic Hollywood which due either to studio interference or director quirks lose themselves somewhat in the ending. Here the final moments elevate the film far beyond what was already an outstandingly complex and heavy courtroom drama into something really special. Genuine chills, it's fabulous.
