Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter 1984
I didn’t hate it at all, but I fail to see the appeal that can make someone sit through the first hour to get to the somewhat satisfying third act. The kills themselves are fun, as well as the constant windows being jumped through, but too many “hey come swim with me” scenes to make it worth watching again.

This one has so much less happening compared to the last two. Add on that the entire gimmick falls flat if you’re not wearing 3D glasses, and you’re in for a boring watch.

The Empty Man 2020
For a movie that’s a little too long and a premise that should be forgettable, this won me over quite a bit. Prior’s a very sure-handed director that makes the most of every shot. The story continually reinvents itself to keep you invested, with a greatly-understated performance from James Badge Dale.
