  50th anniversary screening via print struck ca. 2006. Elliott Gould sat directly behind me for the duration of the film and before the show began, I overheard him tell Robert Reed Altman, “I figured out what ‘the long goodbye’ is: it’s life.”

  Preceded by Daffy Duck short “The Super Snooper” and trailers for S*P*Y*S, Little Murders, and California Split. Followed by Elliott Gould in conversation with writer Kim Morgan.
