Annihilation 2018
I loved the way that this movie was put together. I thought that it did an incredible job of capturing my attention through mixing elements of sci-fi and action with romance and reality. It was extremely unsettling for me to watch especially when she was confronting the alien-like being mirroring her. That will for sure haunt my nightmares. The ending also did not sit right with me and honestly made the whole thing even more horrifying because whatever the couple faced in Area X clearly took over their bodies. Overall this film was definitely a weird interesting experience.
