* "Dramatically" pulls off goggles despite being in a well-lit room *
I wish I liked this more. It's unapologetically pulpy and is full of goofy production design and small-time character actors I love. Shout out to Christopher Heyerdahl and Peter Williams. It just drags on too much.

Aesthetics are a 4 or 4.5/5, which is the main reason I even care about this franchise. I think you could easily bump this movie up a notch with another cut of the existing material. Some of the callbacks like the Alien Isolation save point are fun. Some others pull you right out of the movie. You know the one I'm talking about.
