  One of my absolute favorite Hitcock films. Even though he instructed the cast and crew to be absolutely horrible to female lead Joan Fontaine. Rebecca was a critical and audience smash hit upon it´s release . I´ve watched it more times than I can remeber. I just can´t get enough of this film.   William Holden arrives in a small town and meet Kim Novak, who`s character is filled with frustration as she is only looked upon as a sexy, mysterious, object made for marriage. When Holden and Kim meet sparks fly, and boy do they spark. Kim Novaks character spend her time dreaming of being taken seriously, Holden loves to look at her, viewing her exactly the way she don´t want to be viewed while sharing the sexiest love making scene, fully clothed, disguised as a dance the Silver screen has ever seen.
