  i had big hopes for this, having been a neglected kid and all, but this movie just feels like it validates parentification by painting ray as a spoiled child instead of one whos neglected and reacting by pushing down all her emotions besides anger because anger is easy. and while that is very relatable as to my childhood experience, its not cathartic its not fun, its voyeuristic and it moves at a glaciar pace. i rly wish this had been…
