  For what I thought was a coming-of-age film, it completely transformed in the two hours, although, very smoothly. It was definitely distressing to watch the story unfold and even more so to reflect upon our own teenage years and how our relationships with our mothers change and develop during that time. The film has also left me with the thought of how emotions can be so complex when we experience them for the first time. Definitely a film that kept me engaged in the story, and absolutely loved Preeti Panigrahi throughout the film! Such q natural performance.

  This movie was made before I was even born but it makes me feel nostalgic nonetheless. The complexity of relationships shown is so realistic. My favourite dialogue that hits home is, "Aadat bhi chali jaati hai, par adhikar nahi jaatein".
