  vicky and vineet’s sequence towards the end was just 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  “tum namak nahin, mere maathe ka tilak ho, kavi” 👏🏼

  also didn’t expect to love vicky and rashmika’s scenes the way i did. the dialogues in these scenes were so full of love and devotion.

  3.5 for the film, extra 0.5 for the performances.

  An honest, authentic, and heartfelt film. Predictable throughout, but all emotions hit home.

  Glad I decided to go and see it in a theatre.

  That scene towards the end when Manoj visits Dushyant and says “mainey cheating chodh di sir” is probably my favorite film sequence of the year. So wholesome. ❤️

  Creative presentation, engaging screenplay, and solid performances and direction. The music absolutely slaps.

  The film beautifully showcases Chamkila’s passion, insecurities, and psychology. The whole fuckery around censorship and what’s right and wrong is brilliantly covered too.

  This film is unlike anything Imtiaz has ever done—which is both great (for most, as he was getting repetitive for them) and mildly disappointing (for someone like me, who LOVES and ADORES those classic Imtiaz tropes, which aren’t as many in this film).
