I love that it isn’t aftaid to be modern or “chronically online”. Seeing the main characters weaponize PC culture against each other was great. The movie is visually appealing. I love Sophie’s fashion. It’s very queer.

Harley described this movie’s pacing as something to “surrender t and it checks out. When the movie started I found myself nervous for the direction of the movie but, as it drifted along I eventually surrounded and allowed myself to sink into it. When I first saw the kids I was worried. I thought kids couldn’t make interesting characters but, as I watched I was reminded of why I want to have children in this capitalist hellscape. The scene with the flashing red lights is brilliant within it’s ambiguity. I would dock off points for lacking gays but I’ll let it slide this one time.
