  Had the Black and Chrome version on in the background of my flight today without sound. Almost works better that way, looked fucking great in black and white. Some truly inspired filmmaking in here, and I think one day we’re gonna look back and be confused that this wasn’t celebrated upon release.

  Guy next to me let out an audible “Jesus Christ” as the credits started rolling. That about sums it up. 

  The art house flares throughout this are SO rattling when juxtaposed with such static realism, making them some of the most effective cinematic choices I can remember in a long time. The score was also absolutely perfect.
