Fight or Flight 2024
This reminded me of Novocaine although I think it's much more fun. both films are held together by their lead. Josh is on one here and it was really fun to watch. This doesn't have the benefit of the Novocaine chemistry but the gimmick here is more fun to watch.
Classic forgettable action movie, perfect for a rainy day with nothing else to do.
I can safely say I'll never watch this again but I had a lot of fun the first time around.
Perfect for those who love streaming action throw-away flicks. Not for gen pop at all.

Novocaine 2025
I normally love these types of action comedy flicks but the shtick of this one wore off pretty quick for me.
Quaid is pretty unreal in terms of charm and has incredible chemistry with the girl from Prey.
I actually loved the first half of this movie, probably a 3.5 or 4 star film.
The second half was pretty boring and rote though, and easily became one of the most forgettable movies of all time.
Done well, movies like these…

This is my fucking bread and butter! A taught thriller with unbelievable underdog odds. Every cheezy "see you in hell" line had me pumping my fists with joy.

Gives an entirely new meaning to the term 'vacation friends'
I really appreciate what they were going for here but this was not for me. I think I prefer scary to completely deranged and I had hoped that Barbarian would have the most fucked up breast feeding scene I'd see in a 12 month period but here we are. This movie was twisted and I can confidently say I'll never watch it again.
