  Features Susan Alexander, cinema's greatest jigsaw puzzle enjoyer. Her appreciation of JPs is unmatched. I saw a camel, a forest pond, a house in a courtyard, a rowboat beside a country road, a mountain, a sailboat at sea, and two others I couldn't make out. Looked to be at least 1000 large sturdy pieces each, with interesting irregular shapes. Nice craftsmanship!

  The movie's ok too I guess. I counted 4 minutes 34 seconds of jigsaw screentime. Not bad but would have liked more.

  Wish I liked this more but still absolutely beautiful animation and amazing soundtrack!! High marks for featuring Freakin Out by Death. There was also a bad ass song about hair cream

  The Brutalist 2024

  My pick for best original score this year, EASY. The cue for the statue of liberty part, and the lead up to it, is insane. I think they managed to make music that sounds the way brutalist architecture looks. I've always said that prepared piano is the coolest thing ever and it's used to amazing effect here.
  Challengers could have challenged it but I guess that's not happening, who knows what happened there.
