Genuinely moving, stylish and rockin.
A pretty odd first act, but followed up by great dialogue, killer looks and that classic weird 80’s vibe where nothing is quite right but that ain’t so wrong.
I wish I were a 16 year old girl seeing this for the first time. But alas, I’ll just have to make do.

Actually I do. I hate Sean Baker.
There were some great comedic moments, and moments where the ensemble worked well together, but Jesus this was a slog for me.
- A one note protagonist who was written painfully lacking in empathy, backstory or range.
- A story that stalls HARD for what I’d argue to be most of the movie.
- A pretty tone deaf and uninformed portrayal of sex work…
