  I am being #vulnerable and sharing this because I think I need to be less self serious about my self-image as a movie enjoyer:

  I watched Persona for the first time last night and I fell asleep!! During the climactic monologue!! 

  It’s probably the shortest movie I’ve seen in a while which makes it extra funny but I don’t really think it means anything except that I was sooooo sleepy and I had just eaten an entire baguette butter sandwich.…

  Things that never happened, they are also part of my memory.

  So many breathtaking images, transitions, time traveling, collapsing, falling, flying, quantum jumping, through the folds and holes in the fabric of memory, and the problem of stitching from it art, narrative, self. 

  Also maybe one of the most beautiful 35mm prints I’ve ever seen.
