Dune 1984
There's plenty of adherents of the Villeneuve's Dune but, upon rewatching Lynch's 1984 effort, I find that something truly special is missing from the new adaptations.
Lynch was, throughout his work and varied mediums, a deeply spiritual and metaphysical man.
