Maybe it was the macchiato i had at intermission, or the fact that the cinema was overheated, but that second half AFFECTED me (sweating bullets, heart racing, stressed). Loved it

Perfect for letting your thoughts bloom and fade and smash into each other and flow like particles in a stream (or cars on a freeway or blood cells in an artery).

Defamiliarisation is often a natural companion to the uncanny - which can disturb - but here it is done in a way that pleases me.

Bonus because my new favourite music genre is the monastic chanting of one word over and over.

Whenever I hear The Kinks I will now think of this lovely movie - what a treat. So much dialogue I want to remember!

‘We’re just trying to experience something.’

    - ‘Do you think it’s working? Do you feel something?’
    - ’I hope so.’
    - ’It’s got to.’

    - ‘We haven’t located us yet.’
    - ‘Is that symbolic?’

‘I wonder if the three of us could have been friends in real life.’

‘I guess I’ve still got some more healing to do.’
