  went into this movie expecting it to be more heady about indie music since anyone who has talked to me about it always emphasizes that The Shins are featured in it. felt disappointed because everything about this film felt random, and the attempts at quirkiness didn't deliver for me. nice soundtrack, but wanted a bit more from the story overall
