  This would’ve absolutely been a 4.5 had it been 1) shorter / better edited, 2) better scored, 3) explored and developed its characters better like in the first half. My main problem is that it meandered a little bit and it turned into a murder thriller. Overall, a beautiful exposition of narcissism, narcissistic parents, desire, family dynamics, social life in post-revolution Iran, and the crippling pain inflicted by the people closest to us.
