  Like yeah a very good adaptation but alas, the source material was dog shit so okay?? Also feel like the severity of abuse / DV coulda been a little less Hollywood-ified and my god I am so sick of the narrative that a knight in shining armour is coming to save you from abuse, LIKE NO THAT’S NEVER HAPPENING IN REAL LIFE ACTUALLY.
