I have so many thoughts and feelings, but the most important is that I absolutely loved this and I already can’t wait to watch it again. I just know it’s the kind of show where you notice something new every time you watch it whilst still being just as invested and moved as you were the first time.

the first and probably last time i will ever cry over a football game.
kaimana is incredible as jaiyah saelua whose story i would have loved to see more of! i think a greater focus on her over rongen would have really been brilliant, but nevertheless this film was fun, uplifting and a fantastic feel-good movie. i’ve never been invested in football before, but i found myself cheering along and couldn’t stop smiling by the end.
