Stand by Me 1986
I love the 60s small town aesthetic where everyone know each other. The friendship between all the boys seem super genuine and real. Through out the story you see each one of them grow in their own way by coming to terms with somethings that’s haunting them wether it’s death, family or prejudice opinions of others. It’s a beautiful coming of age story that’s deserves more appreciation. “I never had any friends later on like the friends when I was twelve, Jesus does anyone” this may be the best ending line to a movie of all time, got me all teary eyed
