It’s about time I sat down and watched this film, I adored watching Chiron grow through his childhood, adolescence and ultimately adulthood - big shoutout my boy Trevante Rhodes who although wasn’t in it that long was extremely convincing (lowkey looks like 50 cent too, no disrespect black king)

Beetlejuice 1988
Beetlejuice… Beetlejuice…. Shut the fuck up Jesus Christ, probably the most annoying character I’ve ever watched however that is his purpose, Tim Burton lands another classic that is fairly enjoyable. I watched this as a setup for the 2024 sequel which I have heard loads about (loved the musical scenes)

I watched this film after a night out, my opinion may be blinded by the high alcohol level of my blood stream at the time however I laughed, I laughed a lot, I laughed way too much, I think I have a thing for minority duos, highly recommend watching with a substance of your choice

My biggest criticism of this film is that I believe it should’ve been longer, I could tell right from the start that it was going to be rushed, it seemed like a decent plot however the lack of time we have with the characters makes it hard to sympathise with some of the decisions. Instead of being absorbing into it you are pushed away to remain as a viewer
