Good and I liked it
Now, I watched this again today with a 102.5 degree fever so maybe this rating is conflated but this was one of my favorite movies of 2022, so maybe not.
Anyway, from the cinematography to the perfect balance of thriller/comedy/‘horror’, this movie’s commentary on the political and social elite is exquisite every time. My brain is too fried from fever to expand further but someone’s written about it somewhere.
Could watch again and again :)

Good and I liked it
We need more romcoms like that. Good actors. Good ensemble. Average script but with people who obviously enjoyed their time and the process.
It’s wacky. It’s not fully believable, but it’s a good time. Never thought Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon would have chemistry. And never thought a film could loosely feature 2 out of 3 Jonas Brothers in the year of our Lord 2025.
But I’m all for surprises. This one was a treat.

Well, I finally understand the joke, “I BEAT MERYL!”. Feel good movie that had a great message but without it being overbearing. Gasped at the Stockard Channing of it all and thought the husbands were excellent at their mediocrity.
SJP and MGH were excellent other women and overall, I enjoyed myself!
