This feels like a low score because I don't have any real critique of this movie, it simply did not work for me. Has its moments, certainly, but mostly it's just so opaque I couldn't get much out of it. I realize that's the point, and I was really looking forward to this one too, but I dunno. In the moment, I didn't get much out of it.

Extemely satisfying watch right now. So funny, such good performances. The tavern scene is wildly tense. You forget how good Pitt is in this but my god he is good. So weird how like half of the Basterds basically don't exist.
