Blade Runner 1982
Watched the final cut. Think I prefer the theatrical version. Might be an idiot but I felt like this one was more cold with some confusing character reactions. Somehow I remember rachel being warmer in the first meeting. Acid LA is incredible. Harrison remains captivating throughout. The ending roy monologue remains an all time great sci fi moment. Iconic.

Marion Crane is a fascinating character. The thing I noticed about her character is that she is an excellent listener. For her character to make the decision to go back to AZ in response to her discussion with Norman is very compelling. The scene with Arbogast climbing the stairwell is one of the best sequences I've ever seen. Love to see this with the vhs village community. Shout out to my fellow psycho virgins Sammy and kirby.

Self care is important yall. Dennis Quaid should be in contention for best supporting actor. The ending of this movie is bananas. Cronenberg wishes. Soundtrack is oppressive but I liked it. Will be in film studies classes next semester. Don't be a sue.
