  I enjoyed this movie far more than I expected. I had moderate to low expectations going in. The trailer looked good, but I chose this movie to watch a fairly obscure (at this point) actor/director follow through on a passion project. It seemed like a passably enjoyable time… and it over delivered in just about every category.   Definitely a movie. Very apt HBO immediately recommended Burn after Reading. Both had great casts, some great individual moments and performances, and….. just a lot of really weird choices. 

  By far the best Taylor Swift performance since Cats tho 👀

  The Edge of Seventeen 2016

  I decided to continue the post-Hawkeye binge by revisiting Hailee Steinfeld in Edge of Seventeen. I forgot exactly how great she was in this role. A couple suicide/rape jokes haven’t aged super well, but overall the movie still slaps. Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
