Queen of the Ring 2024
I’m glad I watched this movie because it felt important to me, however it feels more important than good. I’m so glad this was made but I can’t say that it was particularly exceptional. I was questioning some of the filmmaking choices in the theater - shot choice/composition/editing. All that said, the actors were phenomenal. Emily Rickards chief among them.

- I had to close my eyes and pretend I did not see the current wrestlers in the credits being billed with their government names- They twinkied Gorgeous George T_T

Leprechaun: Origins 2014
I didn’t sit down and watch this bit it was playing in the background behind the DJ at a goth club I went to. The monster did not look like a leprechaun, but I loved the bit where one person got their tongue pulled out - gnarly. Also, it was a wild experience dancing and then out of the corner of my eye catching a fleeting glimpse of a person’s name in the credits and going down a googling rabbit hole on the middle of the dance floor to confirm that there was, in fact, a wrestler in this movie.
