    I’m putting a few things aside here to speak about the film itself: There’s a large political element about Israel vs Palestine and then the matter of Rock Hudson and this being his last film. Clearly they matter, but I’m not addressing them.

    Eclectic little film capturing the last vestiges of the 60s, and a perfect parody of every dreaded American tourist. Lovely coach tour guide, Ian McShane woos Suzanne Pleshette throughout a whirlwind trip of mainland Europe. It does use quite a bit of exaggerated humour to stick it all together, but admittedly, it’s a lot of fun. One of those films I always watch when I need a good pick-me-up!
