Simple fun an easy going. Pushed to greatness with fantastic writing, pacing, acting and score. A lot of love in this movie and you could tell the actors had a great time on set. Loved the blend of modern and medievil. Bella was amazing as Birdie and I look forward to seeing their career develop. Could have been a full 5 but the director is atrocious and not to be supported.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
The first movie left me with high standards for this one. The animation here was a major step up, a shame it’s at the expense of mistreating your animators. This was visually spectacular however. Story was fun and the new characters were a great addition. This could have been 5 stars but was let down due to the pacing and cliffhanger for part two. Wish the story could have been tightened up so we didn’t need two parts.

A boost in animation since Perfect Blue, you can tell the higher budget really allowed for the animators to really experiment and push some new technique.
Story wise, you can see that this film definitely inspired Inception. Except this is deeper, more complex and much more enjoyable. It is however easier to get lost.
