  Unrated Cut

  There are certainly things to like. But.. There were so many jokes where the lunch line is being groped or some kind of sexual assault. It got tiring. Like really tiring.

  Otherwise it was an amusing experience at points, but not outstanding. And I don't want to rewatch. Anytime soon.

  Maybe I just don't like Paul Fieg's style of writing or directing, atleast when it's a solo project? Feels like a "we just left the camera rolling for…

  I really quite liked this. Not as good at Parasite, but it's also just not the same kind of movie, clearly. Touches upon similar themes, but tackles them differently in Micky 17, feeling a lot more like a distortion of a potential future less than the translation of one we see in Parasite.
