  This film challenged the construct and genre of film. It can be confusing to understand for those born before the smartphone generation. I found it entirely entertaining in its presentation.

  I imagine if it weren't for the clever directing it would be a very lame film.

  Tons of foul language. Underdog story. Think 'Rudy' if it were about a topic much fewer people cared about. Jazz.

  If you're in the market for some really abusive, yet creative insults, this is your film.

  This movie is in every way a love song to hedonism. It has multiple disgusting scenes, and a 2010 like drug-laced confusion scene that some may call 'artistic'. Why did I muddle through it? Because I'm a sucker for hollywood stories. And this one, was sad and poignant.

  It's like if you took Singin in the Rain, made it a drama, and threw in multiple orgie scenes. Save yourself the nausea and watch Singin in the Rain again.
