  I hate the United States with every fucking fiber of my being. Alex Cox is a genius, this shouldn't have ruined his career if anything this should've kicked it into overdrive. Amazing soundtrack

  I think I kinda hate this movie

  Felt like expanding on this just very briefly:

  This is my first Cassavetes film, have always heard wonderful things about him as a filmmaker and he's has influenced a number of my favorites. I didn't know much about husbands nor Cassavetes style going into it. In terms of form, it was top notch. Particularly the cinematography and performances, both fucking perfect. He shoots it with this subjective honesty, and voyeurism.
