  This film should have all the themes I care about; tormented gay people, doing drugs while sad, New York, but the whole thing was sort of mid. Not unpleasant or offensive to watch, but sort of… smooth brained. I found myself not paying much attention or caring about any of the characters.

  The most uncomfortable thing I have ever watched. Voyeuristic and somehow still extremely annoying and cringe inducing, a one hour and 40 minute long supercut of posts from the “#depression” tag on tumblr. In fact likely the progenitor of that whole style. Some of the worst dialogue I have ever heard. Extremely racialised for no narrative reason whatsoever other than to add to a lazy “good girl gone bad archetype”. Got jumpscared by mrs incredible’s voice, the only good acting performance in this.

  Half hearted commentary on the millennial left and their personal lives that lacks any real punchline or payoff. Some funny moments save this from 1 star. Characters are deliberately insufferable as part of the commentary, but are so over-caricatured as to not correspond to any real types of people. Has the vibe of an extended humiliation fetish fever dream.

  Being from Norfolk is a crime punishable only by being from Norfolk. Beautifully shot film that captures the bleakness of working-bordering-on-under class rural England. Inbredcore. Wish they did more with the gay character. An interesting presentation of a particular side of life but fundamentally a pointless film, though the pointlessness is sort of the point.
