  If you are making a movie longer than 2 hours and 30 minutes watch this film and take notes. The first 2/3 of the film before intermission felt like 45 minutes. Such a well made movie showing the fight between a creative and investors. So many more messages as well like immigrants being taken advantage of. One of the most important notes for me is you can have metaphors and messages, but at the end of the day you just need a good story and this is a wonderful story.

  Can't go higher than a 2 after that intro. I'm making this review 27 minutes into the movie. Caesar says apes together strong then dips on some revenge story.  Leaving his 1st generation species to fight off humans and the dessert land he sends them to. Oh and also his last remaining family member, his baby son, he leaves to some chick name Lake. Makes no senses. All to chase Woody Harrelson?
